As Taylor Swift's latest song says, she just "keeps on movin, keeps on cruisin"... According to a US Weekly report dated Sun. Aug. 31, the 24-year-old songstress has accepted a position on hit talent show, 'The Voice.'
The latest report comes as great news for 'Swifties' who enjoy keeping up with the country pop star any chance they get. She will reportedly be joining the upcoming seventh season as an advisor. The source says her role on the show will be like Coldplay's Chris Martin's job during the sixth season, which means she will advise contestants on all four teams.
Swift will be working with fellow country singer Blake Shelton, along with 'Voice' returner Adam Levine, and new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.
"Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with," a source tells Us of Swift's contribution to The Voice. "She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."
Swift who rocked 'The Voice' stage on the fourth season also joins advisors Stevie Wonder (working with Levine), Gavin Rossdale (working with wife Stefani), Little Big Town (working with Shelton), and Alicia Keys (working with Williams).
The upcoming season kicks off on NBC on Sept. 22. Swift's first pop album, which is her fifth studio album is scheduled for release on Oct. 27. Though she will likely receive some criticism for her latest developments, she will just "shake it off" and keep on doing her thing!
