According to a CBS News report on Thursday, Feb. 14, Taylor Swift's old boyfriend, Conor Kennedy, was arrested at the White House. The tall teen dreamboat, along with fellow environmental activists, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., (Conor's dad) and Daryl Hannah were protesting amid rumors that the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline proposal might pass Congress.
Teenager activist Conor made headlines last summer when photographs of he and Swift emerged from the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass. and Cape Cod. Like all school boys, Conor returned to classes after summer's end. At that time, the brief romance apparently cooled even if the intrigue has yet to subside.
Although CBS also reported their break-up, it was never confirmed through any of Swift's representatives. More than a month has now passed since there has been any publicity about the two seeing one another. Recent speculation surfaced when Taylor published a home in near proximity to Conor's grandmother, Ethel Kennedy.
So while Taylor, according to Ryan Seacrest, will be hanging out with friends for a low-key Valentines Day following the exposure of a bogus sex video, Conor took a high-profile Valentine trip, in cuffs, to the Park Police station. Once there, he and the others were booked for civil disobedience. After the fines were paid, the activists quickly left.
