In case you’re looking for a home in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, you may want to consider looking at Taylor Swift’s childhood home. That is of course…if the budget allows. Before Swift became a superstar and began earning $55 million a year (according to Forbes), she still wasn't living too shabby. In a Yahoo! Article dated Thursday, August 15, photos of her childhood home were released.
The charming three-story house is where the country songstress and her family resided until she was 14. In an effort to make Taylor’s music dreams come true, parents Scott and Andrea, along with her brother Austin, left behind the home they spent a decade in, and made the move to Nashville. The place that Swift used to rest her head is now on the market for $799,500 according to Zillow.
The residence which was built in 1927 boasts 5,050 square feet, and six bedrooms. It features an elegant exterior and interior. It comes packed with a enviable balcony, a fancy winding staircase, and marble and granite in the kitchen and bathrooms. It also has an attractive side porch and a two car garage.
Swift’s guitar strumming used to take place beside one of the two fireplaces.
Not surprisingly, Swift’s house is somewhat of a fan attraction. Whoever pays the hefty price tag will likely have to get used to gawkers.
Though Swift has maintained multiple homes since then, it is fair to say that this will always be ‘The House That Built Me’ to her (Oh wait, that’s a Miranda Lambert tune).
