Taylor Swift isn't a fan favorite when it comes to One Direction fans. Unfortunately the news from London is that tickets sales have increased since Monday when word got out that the two stars are no longer dating. The increase, a substantial 50%, has executives for the band shocked at the returning of fans that once again support One Direction.
It isn’t surprising that fans found issue with the two dating, as celebrity couples sometimes meet resistance. However what is shocking is how people didn’t buy tickets anyway. While the dating of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez didn't cut into concert tickets, apparently the idea of Harry Styles dating Taylor Swift wasn't appreciated by the fans.
The dislike of Taylor Swift by the fans might have hurt the ticket sales, there isn't a big worry that it will cut into profits. The Take Me Home tour still needs to be rehearsed and readied before the guys hit the road later in 2013. With ticket sales strong, the fans can still find perfect seats and not worry about running into the country star at concert.
