On Feb. 10, Taylor Swift was very much on show at the Grammys 2013. This was so not only on the red carpet when she wore a revealing J Mendel gown that should have the attention of her most recent beau, Harry Styles, but when she was on stage. It was there that this A-list singer had a wild time as she rocked an "Alice in Wonderland" theme that seemed to be verging on complete chaos.
According to Hollywood Life, at first the country/pop sweetheart had on a dress that would have passed CBS standards since the Grecian-styled didn't break the rules by boasting either "bare sides or under curvature of the breasts." The fancy frock did have two front slits and was bare in the back, but that seemed to meet all requirements for not being too sexy.
However, when Taylor Swift mounted the stage to perform a surreal version of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,"she had on a totally different look. She wore a version of the Mad Hatter's top hat and she carried a glittery walking stick. She also had on a long coat that she shed while performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Underneath that long coat was a a cute little shorts outfit with an asymmetrical jacket that appeared to be buttoned in the wrong way. That would have bothered the typical style critic but was just right for someone involved in a take on something that Alice saw when she was going down the rabbit hole.
And so, as Taylor Swift rocked an "Alice in Wonderland" theme on the Grammys 2013 stage, she had the Twitterverse all atwitter, which is probably just what the social media source needed on music's biggest night.
