Taylor Swift, PSY and Train ring in New Year 2013 at Times Square (Photos)

Singer Taylor Swift joined quite a lineup of performers on stage for Times Square’s New Year's Eve 2013 in Times Square celebration on December 31, 2012 and New Year’s Day January 1, 2013 in the Big Apple.

Taylor Swift performed in a sexy red metallic moto jacket with all the requisite zippers in all the right places, which she teamed with equally kicking black leather pants and black booties, wielding her candy apple red microphone, which is quite the fashion accessory all on its own!

Fellow musician on guitar sported red-framed eyeglasses and red skinny jeans!

Joining Taylor were media personality Ryan Seacrest, rapper MC Hammer and Korean rapper PSY in his monochrome white ensemble of white suite with a cropped jacket and white fur vest as he performed his “Gangnam Style.”

Hammer dressed up his black, white and silver ensemble with a silver and black headband, ‘80’s style!

Chris Allen and Tyler Glenn of the band Neon Trees both wore metallic, with Chris choosing a gold and green tuxedo jacket and Tyler in bronze – bravo!

Actress Bridget Moynahan and television personality Carson Daly, who was doing the countdown and the ball drop, both wore monochrome black and toasty gloves. Obviously, Bridget snuggled up next to Carson more for warmth than photo op!

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg looked patriotic in his sweater with the American flag, surrounded by the New York City Rockettes, who helped him with the ball drop, dressed in their sparkly black and gold dresses, topped off with black fir-trimmed jackets.

San Francisco band Train were all in black and grey, with lead singer Pat Monahan dapper in his heathered grey jacket as he performed “Imagine” and “Mermaid” on the NIVEA Kiss Stage.

Million Dollar Quartet added a pop of color with their red, blue and golden jackets and rockabilly charm.

Also performing were musical artist Tiffany Alvord (in plaid winter coat), Carly Rae Jepsen (in striped red chiffon skirt and skimpy black top – I hope she’s thawed out!) and Yuri.

Whatever they all wore that historic last night of the year 2012 at Times Square, kudos to them for braving the chill around and well past midnight. Enjoy the slideshow and Happy New Year!
