Taylor Swift has yet to publicly reveal who her Grammy winning song Mean was written about, but that didn’t matter on Sunday night when she hit the stage. The entertainer was all about a flawless performance for her fans and she focused on her music for one of the most anticipated performances of the evening. Winning two Grammy awards earlier in the day, the artist called the wins “unbelievable” and thanked everyone who voted for the song.
In a unique stage setting, the entertainer was raised off the stage ever so slightly so the cameras (as well as the audience) could see the artist perfectly. The backdrop of the stage looked like a completely full porch and barn area that had had ladders, washboards and extra pieces of wood and metals attached to look very homey.
Taylor Swift’s performance on the Grammys stage definitely didn’t disappoint. Picking up the banjo and giving not only a strong vocal performance, but strumming the instrument for the song, she showed the world she why she easily won her awards.
