The annual television special was broadcast from New York City's Times Square and Swift's performance aired moments before the ball dropped at midnight. For her New Year's Eve performance, Swift wore tight black leather pants and a red glitter jacket. She performed "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" back to back. Swift sang into a red microphone on a stage that was in the middle of Times Square. She performed live with her band and a handful of back-up singers.

Both songs are featured on Swift's most recent studio album, "Red" which was released on Oct. 22, 2012 via Big Machine Records. In 2013 she will be touring to support the album and you can view all of Swift's North American tour dates here.
