Taylor Swift mouthed an f-bomb at One Direction's Harry Styles during the MTV VMAs Sunday night. As Us Weekly pointed out Aug. 25, Swift, who was sitting with best friend, Selena Gomez, expressed a tense moment in the audience as Styles was with One Direction on-stage presenting a VMA Award.
Swift was filmed mouthing "shut the f--- up!" while she was seated in the audience. Whatever she was feeling about Styles, she wasn't holding back at the VMAs.
Swift won the best female video VMA for her hit single, "I Knew You Were Trouble." That song is presumed to be about her 2010 romance with Jake Gyllenhaal. Styles was seen looking on without much emotion as Swift gave her speech for winning the award.
As for what Styles said about any future albums Swift will make, he's prepared to have a song written about him.
"It would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn't do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experience," he told Us magazine in their latest issue. "I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it."
Did Taylor Swift purposely drop an f-bomb while Harry Styles was on-stage for all to see? Performers know cameras are zooming in on their reactions throughout awards shows -- especially high-profile couples who've split up. It's definitely a way for stars to take shots at each other.
