How did Taylor Swift spend her Saturday night in New York? Taste of Country reported on April 13, 2014 that Swift spent her Saturday night getting her laugh on on “Saturday Night Live.” According to the Taste of Country, Swift made an unexpected stop on stage during Seth Rogen’s monologue.

James Franco and Zooey Deschanel also took part in crashing Rogen’s opening on the show. Swift had fun admitting her emotional side during the monologue by popping in to tell Rogen “You were getting really upset and whenever a man shows emotion, I appear.”

Swift’s touring partner and friend Ed Sheeran was the “Saturday Night Live” musical guest. Sheeran performed two songs from his latest album, X, taking the stage to perform "Sing" for his first performance, followed up with "Don't" as his second song.

Sheeran recently told Rolling Stone that the song "Don't" is not about Swift as some rumors have stated. Sheeran said he has played the song for Swift saying "She was just like, 'Whatever happens, ever, between us as friends, I never want to piss you off that much.”
