Taylor Swift & Kacey Musgraves lead country Grammy nominees

Country superstar Taylor Swift and country newcomer Kacey Musgraves are tied in country Grammy nominations for the upcoming 2014 broadcast.

Swift appeared in the special "Grammy Nominations Live" special via a pre-taped video, as she was performing in Australia at the time. She performed "I Knew You Were Trouble" on the show, which you can watch by clicking the link to the left.

Swift scored nominations for "Begin Again" for Best Country Song, Best Country Album for "Red," which also was nominated in the all-genre Best Album category, and lastly, as part of the collaboration with Tim McGraw and Keith Urban for "Highway Don't Care" as Best Duo/Group Performance.

Kacey Musgraves, received nominations for Best Country Album for "Same Trailer Different Park," as well as two nominations for Best Country Song, for her own "Merry Go Round," and Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart," and lastly, a nomination in the all-genre Best New Artist category.
