Taylor Swift continues to be on a roll with winning awards and receiving nominations for her album “RED." Swift received an impressive five “American Music Award” nominations and six for the “47th Annual CMA Awards.” Now Swift is back at work writing songs and preparing for her new follow up album and some things will be changing with Swift’s new music according to an article from Rolling Stone on Oct. 15, 2013.
Rolling Stone reported that Swift is gearing up to make her new music sound different for her next album with Swift saying "I think the goal for the next album is to continue to change, and never change in the same way twice" and Swift added "How do I write these figurative diary entries in ways that I've never written them before and to a sonic backdrop that I've never explored before?"
Swift has also been named the Nashville Songwriters Association International 2013 Songwriter/Artist of the Year for the sixth time in her career proving once again that her formula for writing hit songs continues to work. The award makes Swift the artist to win this award more times than any other artist in addition to being the youngest artist ever to win this award. Swift’s six Nashville Songwriters Association awards will be put on display in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee at the Taylor Swift Education Center.
