Taylor Swift announces she is on 'Team Jake'

Twilight fans: Taylor Swift announces she is on team Jake.

Taylor Swift told CMT Radio's Cody Alan which side of the Twilight alliance she was on during a radio interview. She stated she is on "team Jake".

Swift and Taylor Lautner have been seen together in public recently and the dating rumors are flying. Twilight fans are wondering if they are a couple now. 

During the CMT interview Swift was asked about the rumors that she and Lautner are more than friends. Swift replied "I don't know, he's an amazing guy and we're really close … and ah … yep,". She also mentions "We're in a movie together and I am really excited about seeing it.", People.com reported.

Swift and Lautner are starring in the movie "Valentine's day" together. Swift said that she and Lautner will get to see a private screening of the movie together. 

FYI: The Valentine's day movie comes on February 10th 2010. You can watch a trailer below, however, it neglects to show either Swift or Lautner. 

Are Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner dating?

The couple rumors began back in July when a photo was posted online showing the two kissing. To be fair, the photo looks like they were kissing on the set of the movie.

 Swift has not flat out denied that they are dating. The possibility certainly exists and we will all have to wait and see.

 Team Edward you can put your claws away now. Taylor Swift doesn't dislike Robert Pattinson, she is just close "friends" with Taylor Lautner.

 Swift's interview with CMT Radio Live with Cody Alan will air on Thursday night between the hours of 7 p.m. and 12 a.m. EST.
