On Friday, August 27, Taylor Swift will march down the wedding isle. OK, so the teen queen isn't actually tying the knot. She is, however playing the bride in a fews scenes of her latest music video, set to air on multiple MTV-owned networks and internet sites on the 27th. The video for her latest #1 single, Mine, which Swift co-directed alongside Roman White might as well be a big celebrity wedding, considering the airtime devoted to its premiere.
Debuting August 27 at 8/7pm central on CMT, my pal, CMT Insider host Katie Cook will be joined by Taylor for an exclusive LIVE half-hour special which includes Swift taking Cook on a tour of the video's Kennebunkport, Maine location as the country cutie offers behind the scenes info on the making of the video.
As for the plot of the music video, Taylor plays half of a budding romance alongside up-and-coming Brit-born heartthrob-in-training, Toby Hemingway. At the close of the CMT special, Taylor continues her country domination as she takes over the airwaves to personally introduce the world premiere video before a live studio audience. Also at 8:30/7:30pm central Taylor's video will be available for viewing globally on CMT.com, MTV.com, VH1.com an a number of MTV International websites.
Keeping the momentum going, fans can switch over to MTV to catch Mine as it debuts at 9/8pm central during their Friday night lineup. Can't get enough Taylor? VH1 gets in on the action Saturday morning at 10/9am central, August 28 when Mine makes its adult contemporary viewer debut during VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown.
Just last week, CMT.com uploaded exclusive images from the video, including the one accompanying this article. CLICK HERE to check out the rest of the photos.
When Mine debuts Friday, look for Taylor and Toby to reveal the emotional roller coaster of new love, which includes, a seaside proposal, a small town church wedding and the inevitable first fight. In anticipation of the cross-network world premiere event, MTV.com is offering a sneak peek at the video.
