The multiple jokes circulating about Taylor Swift’s love life has finally affected the singer, reported the Huffington Post on Jan. 22. Swift’s reputation for not being able to hold onto relationships with men for very long has embarrassed her when the host of the Golden Globe Awards, Tina Fey, dissed jokingly over her notorious habit of never staying in a relationship for too long.
The young “Red” star made her career singing heartbreak songs after ending relationships with them.
Fey, acting in a drunken state on stage, rambled playfully, “You know Taylor Swift, you stay away from Michael J. Fox’s son.”
“She needs some me time to learn about herself,” continued the Golden Globe host.
The “We are Never Ever Getting Back Together” star, Michael J. Fox and his wife Tracy Pollan were in attendance at the awards ceremony.
After realizing how fast the joke circulated over the Internet circuits, Fox called Swift to apologize in his part when he commented about the serial dater, “what a way to build a career.”
Her latest break up was supposedly with One Direction’s singer, Harry Styles. The couple had been shown publicly in New York during the holidays together.
The “Back to the Future” star has personally called to apologize with the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer.
