The 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards took place on April 3rd in Las Vegas. Taylor Swift won Female Entertainer of the Year. Swift continues to garner awards and her fan base is expanding. Entertainer of the Year is an award that shows fan support.
Swift twittered her fans with a sneak peek of her Spring 2010 Elie Saab Couture gown prior to the show. Taylor posted a closeup of her gown which had lots of small details.
Saab is favorite designer of red carpet looks. The design was heavily embroidered with floral appliqués. The soft yellow shade of the gown was super feminine and delicate. Swift however seems to look better in brighter shades. The gown was figure flattering with a super low neckline and flowing train. She accented with lovely Neil Lane diamond drop earrings.
Whether or not you loved the dress Swift selected, you have to love and admire her poise and talent.
On a fashionable note, it is nice to see that country women have toned down the beads and sequins.
