Taylor Swift is enjoying her success. The entertainer who has hit every major award show and holiday event to pitch her music announced on Monday that her hit I Knew You Were Trouble is currently on the top spot at radio stations around the country. Announcing the song is number one on pop radio, Taylor Swift shared her joyous news with fans.
“It's official--'I Knew You Were Trouble' is #1 on pop radio!! You guys are unbelievable. I'm smiling SO big right now,” tweeted Taylor Swift from her official Twitter account. She probably expects to stay at the top spot for a while as she will be performing at the Grammys in a few weeks to give her songs another heavy boost.
While Taylor Swift did acknowledge the fans are driving the success of the song, it’s odd that she didn't thank the fans. Eluding to how she feels and who is responsible, the message never directly gives props to the people who make her success. Other artists usually fall all over the fans when a big milestone is tackled, which really has people wondering if Swift forgot.
