Only days after Taylor Swift and Harry Styles’ New Year’s Eve kiss made headlines this 2013, Cambio reported this Thursday, Jan. 3, that the dating “Haylor” couple may only be “fake” to spark publicity among T. Swift and One Direction fans alike, according to sources close to the Enquirer. However, other insiders this week affirm that Taylor Swift is honestly “in love” with Harry Styles and the “happiest that she’s ever been” with him.
Although there were quite a few Harry Styles and Taylor Swift fans who believed when “Haylor” first began dating again that their relationship may only be a publicity stunt of sorts, for a majority of fans this no longer seems to be the case. (It was only yesterday that #WeRespectHaylor was a trending hash tag on Twitter, after all).
Yet reports from Cambio and The National Enquirer this week not only allege that the “Haylor” dating news is fake, but that Harry Styles is in fact “using” Taylor Swift to “boost his career.” (Not that Taylor or Harry really need any boosts to their successful music careers in the first place.)
“[Haylor] was orchestrated by Harry’s publicists to cast even more light on the popular British idol. Little does Taylor know Harry’s handlers were the ones who went to great lengths to get the two together because Taylor Swift is such a big star.”
The insider adds: “Anytime Taylor Swift starts dating a new boyfriend, she gets a lot of media attention, and her breakups even more, which is why they wanted [Harry Styles] to date her. If there is a split, [Harry’s people] are going to just wait for the relationship to take its course and reap the benefits.”
However, these sources remain entirely unconfirmed, and conflict with another insider’s report on Harry Styles and Taylor Swift’s relationship. The insider says that the One Direction singer and “Red” star’s love story is very real, and that Taylor Swift is in fact the happiest she’s ever been dating Harry Styles.
“[Taylor and Harry] are really in love,” said the source to US Weekly. “I’ve never seen Taylor this happy before. She’s smiling all the time.”
In this 2013 New Year, all we "Haylor" and One Direction fans can do, it seems, is wish the talented couple the very best together in their relationship.
