E! reports on Friday that Taylor Swift reveals in her interview in InStyle UK magazine’s April issue that she worries about “making the wrong choices.”
The superstar states, "What I worry about is that I never want to end up kind of a self-centered, vain human being," referencing the pitfalls of Hollywood fame.
She went on to say, “I don't wanna end up being awful and intolerable; alone laying in a marble bathtub by myself, like sad, with a glass of wine complaining that my life ended up alone because I pushed everyone away because I thought I was too good to hang out with anybody."
The funny thing is, Swift worries about becoming “the typical Hollywood sad cliché of the poor lonely starlet with no one because she put up all these walls and didn't trust anyone" when she should probably be more concerned about men not being able to trust her.
She is using this excuse as a reason to air her dirty laundry through music as she told the mag, “That's why I live my life the way I live my life because I'd so much rather feel everything than end up like that."
It is conceivable that the singer could end up alone in that marble bathtub with a glass of wine and nothing else but self-pity because of sharing too much.
Her list of possible suitors may get smaller and smaller as she continues to throw each of them under the bus after the relationship is severed.
Of course, opportunists looking for some extra publicity will be glued to her side as long as she is in the limelight but she may miss out on landing a great guy due to her thirst for revenge and retribution.
Taylor can call it whatever she wants but there is nothing worse than a woman scorned and if her repertoire continues to grow in this direction, her concerts are going to turn into a gloom and doom kind of event.
Even her biggest fans are growing tired of it. Let’s hope that she finds other things to write about and chooses to share her anger about her relationships with a therapist instead of the world.
The Tina Fey/Amy Poehler joke rattled the young singer recently because she unfortunately she seems blind to see the relevance. Perhaps Swift never learned the lesson about people who live in glass houses.
Her reaction to the jab shows that she refuses to take responsibility for the negative digs she inflicts on her exes each and every time she performs her songs as well as the countless times those very songs are heard by the masses via television, radio and the internet.
Did anyone expect Tina Fey to apologize? The two comedians said what everyone else is either thinking or saying which is what great comics do and no one is off-limits.
In a perfect world, everyone would wake up tomorrow and Taylor Swift would be as mature as the day is long.
Hold on folks, this young talented performer may curb her writing direction just yet. One can only hope.
