Taylor Swift lit up the red carpet this evening at the 2013 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
The "Red" singer selected another sophisticated white halter-style gown by dynamic designer J. Mendel for the event. The gown featured dramatic silver beading across the neckline and matching crossed straps in the back. The design had a distinct Grecian flair to the silhouette which was unique and stunning. She wore her hair in a cross braid which worked perfectly with the gown.
Delicate Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes completed her look.
Taylor opened the show according to MTV with an "Alice in Wonderland" circus- type performance of her hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" wearing a white top hat and a majorette-like white ensemble with silver accents.
The singer took home an early Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media for "Safe And Sound."
There seems to be no end to the accolades for Swift. There hopefully will be an end to all the white gowns. Taylor keeps picking very similar looks to attend the last few award shows. Although all the designs are gorgeous, they have become a bit boring. All we can hope for now is that Taylor gets a new boyfriend to spice things up!
