Taylor Swift fires back at her dating critics: Only dated two people since 2010 (Photos)

As one might have guessed, Taylor Swift doesn’t appreciate the constant coverage of her love-life. In the media’s defense, she does continually pen breakup songs with hints about certain ex-boyfriends that open the door for further speculation. However, the Grammy winner claims that she hasn’t dated multiple men that she has been photographed with, according to the April issue of Vanity Fair.

“If you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people. The fact that there are slideshows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with…..it’s just kind of ridiculous,” Swift vented to Vanity Fair.

She also resents being called ‘boy crazy,’ and sees nothing wrong with writing about her ups and downs in love.

"For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that's taking something that potentially should be celebrated – a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way – that's taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist," continued Swift.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler famously poked fun at the country star during the Golden Globe awards earlier this year, which of course also offended her.

To name a few, Swift has been linked to Conor Kennedy, Harry Styles, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas, and Jake Gyllenhaal, so it would be interesting to know which ones she may not have considered “official.”

Her latest high profile relationship was with Harry Styles of One Direction. In the April edition of Vanity Fair, the reason for their breakup was revealed. Apparently the 19-year-old was looking at other girls in front of her all the time. Styles allegedly went so far in his checking out of other girls that he kissed one during his relationship with Swift, though he claimed it was just a friendly one.

Styles' rep denied the accusations.

As the ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together’ singer often does following a breakup, she found a way to slam Styles during her Grammy performance this year.

Single or taken, desperate or picky, Swift continues to top the country charts.
