Taylor Swift's monstrous Red Tour edges out Bon Jovi's equally ambitious effort as the top-grossing North American tour of 2013, Pollstar revealed on Friday (Jan. 10).

As the launchpad for her multi-platinum "Red" album, the 66-date excursion grossed $112.7 million -- even surpassing her previous personal best of $97.7 million in 2011 on the Speak Now Tour.

Bon Jovi's tour cleared $107.3 million last year.

Pollstar, the concert hotwire which releases annual reports on music's biggest and most-sought after tours, notes that the concert business hit a record high in 2013 with $5.1 billion in earnings, a 10.3% increase of 2012. In retrospect, the lump sum in 2000 was $1.7 billion.

The average ticket cost held relatively steady at $69.52, only witnessing a 1.1% increase from the year prior.

Following in behind Swift and Bon Jovi to round out the Top 5 are Kenny Chesney ($90.9 mil), The Rolling Stones ($87.7 mil) and Beyonce ($76.4 mil).
