Taylor Swift cuts loose with her best friends in '22' music video

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 13, 2013 - Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift debuted her brand new music video "22" on Good Morning America this morning. Via satellite video, the bright-eyed pop superstar was all smiles as she treated fans to the exclusive premiere of the fist-pumping summer anthem. Off her quadruple platinum-selling Red album, the new track features an infectious hook, thumping bass, and plenty of colorful confetti.

"Since 13 is my lucky number, I thought today was the perfect day to release my brand new music video for a song called '22,'" she says. "We shot this video last month in Malibu, and I've never had this much fun shooting a video because my friends in the video are my real life best friends."

In the four-minute clip, Swift, donning a T-shirt with "not a lot going on at the moment" blazoned across the front, channels her inner wild child as she lets loose with her closest friends. Between smashing a giant red heart to jumping on a trampoline, Swift appears to be rather carefree when it comes to love, despite her track record. At one point, the now 23-year-old channels her cat Meredith with a pair of adorable cat ears, and she even practices her cat claws. In the end, all it takes for Swift to get over an ex-boyfriend is a healthy dip in the lake.

Tonight, Swift kicks off her sold-out Red Tour in Omaha, Neb. British musician Ed Sheeran is her opening act.
