After appearing on a red carpet event in Spain this Thursday, a new report surfaced Friday that Taylor Swift said she is very independent and that part of her "just wants to be alone."
Speaking to Vibe magazine recently, Taylor gave a telling interview where she admitted to being "blindly optimistic" and to always wanting something new. While she loves "the idea of romance and falling in love," she admits to also wanting to be by herself.
"I've never really had a long relationship," Taylor said, revealing what all her fans already know all too well, "So that's something I think about for the future. It's an interesting part of my personality: Part of me just wants to be alone."
After her most recent breakup with One Directions' Harry Styles, Taylor has been spotted hanging out with family and working hard on her next album. She even hinted at possibly writing a song about her latest love, after posting a message on Twitter last week. "Back in the studio. Uh oh..." she wrote.
Meanwhile, during an appearance on the Spanish program El Hormiguero, Taylor explained that "once a relationship is done, it's done, you can't do that back and forth thing." She also gave more insight into her breakup song writing process.
"Maybe I wrote that song then so I would never get back in that relationship," Taylor explained, "If you write that about it there is no way you are getting back together!"
