Taylor Swift blames relationship woes on fame

It is no secret that Taylor Swift has had little luck in developing a stable relationship. However, the superstar singer recently postulated a theory explaining her lack of luck with men. According to a Dec. 4 story by Perez Hilton, the singer claims that men are intimidated by her fame.

After her recent triumph at the CMA’s, the singer acknowledged that dating someone of a superstar status could make many men feel uncomfortable.

I suppose it might [be intimidating]. It's not like I would look at a guy and say, 'Hey, are you intimidated by me?' I think that would be highly uncool on my part! I tend not to be the one to start conversations with guys, anyway. I'm a little more old-fashioned than that." -Taylor Swift

While her quotes have shown that the starlet has put ample thought into her love life, she has stated that she hopes to be more grounded in her future relationship dealings.

I assume that if someone is interested in me they will come up and talk to me - and if they want to call me up afterwards, then they will. I try not to wishfully think my way into relationships - or maybe I should say I'm trying not to do that anymore.” -Taylor Swift

It is certainly easy to see how Taylor Swift’s fame has hindered her relationships. However, there is little doubt that the beautiful singer will eventually find a partner comfortable dating a superstar singer.
