Taylor Swift and Kanye West met backstage before their 2010 MTV VMA performances, in which they both let out their feelings about the 2009 VMA incident.
According to reports Taylor Swift and Kanye West met and talked backstage before they performed their songs on Sunday night.
"Kanye got word she was going to do the song about him and wanted to talk it out," an insider told Us Weekly. The two reportedly met privately in Taylor Swift's dressing room.
"Taylor felt bad. They talked and everything is good between them now," the source added. "But they promised to keep what they spoke about between them."
Later that night it was said that Taylor was a nervous wreck before taking the stage to sing her new song, 'Innocent,' which is about Kanye West. Swift sang lyrics like "you are not what you did," and "32 and still growing up."
Kanye West closed the show with a performance of his new song 'Runaway.' West sang about himself with lyrics such as "Let's have a toast to the scumbags."
