Taylor Swift knew the moment she saw One Direction singer Harry Styles that he would break her heart someday. So much so that she wrote a song about it called “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” which she will open the Grammy’s with according to MTV on Feb. 8. Taylor is up for Record of the Year.
"Oh my god, it's Grammy week, it's so hectic. I have a lot to plan for with the opening performance and I'm just really hoping all the pieces come together this week. Because this is when it really gets really crazy, but it's all very exciting too," she told Ryan Seacrest about taking the stage first.
OK! Magazine for Feb. 18 was released on Feb. 9 with reports that Swift, despite her opening Grammy ceremonial tune had a secret rendezvous with ex-boyfriend Harry Styles in a French hotel. The pair tried to keep the reunion low-key, but a source had to share the excitement. Taylor and Harry booked rooms at the same hotel in Cannes for the music festival. During the day the pair didn’t cross paths. Out of the public eye they hung out in each other’s rooms.
Swift has learned from her past mistakes and feels it’s best to keep this reunion out of the public eye until the relationship is back on solid ground. The couple broke up after a fight on New Year’s Eve. Taylor thought Styles left her alone for the night so he could hook up with someone else. All this time Harry has insisted he didn’t cheat and now Swift believes him.
