Taylor Swift and Harry Styles of One Direction have broken up, RadarOnline reports Jan. 7.
On Jan. 1 Taylor and Harry flew to Virgin Gorda, one of the British Virgin Islands, for a New Year's vacation. Apparently things didn't quite go as planned because Taylor left on Jan. 4. The only reason given so far over the couple's split is it had something to do with a "heated argument."
The pair had been an item for two months. Prior to that, Taylor was linked with Connor Kennedy -- another 18-year-old man.
Once Taylor left, Harry was invited by Richard Branson's island "to let off some steam." The source added that the One Direction member was on Necker for only a short time and that "he did plenty of partying and was definitely enjoying himself while hanging out with guests. He returned to Virgin Gorda in the early morning hours looking like he had a raucous night."
So far Taylor hasn't had the best record in the dating department. Early reports of her getting involved with Harry Styles predicted the romance was doomed in the first place. Now everyone will await the next break up song 22-year-old Taylor Swift might write about this latest breakup.
