According to a report from US Weekly on Sunday, Jan. 27, music stars Taylor Swift and Harry Styles made sure to avoid one another while in Cannes, France this past weekend for the NRJ Awards.
Swift and Styles broke up earlier this month while vacationing together in the British Virgin Islands.
Having been known to vent her relationship frustrations by producing songs geared towards taking shots at her exes, it even seemed as though Swift was dropping hints she might heading to the studio to get back at Styles.
While at the NRJ Awards, Styles hit the red carpet with his group One Direction, as well as Korean pop sensation Psy, while Swift arrived nearly 25 minutes later.
"It was very carefully timed so they didn't do the carpet at the same time," an insider told the magazine. "Taylor didn't do any backstage interviews and didn't use a dressing room; she changed at the hotel because she didn't want to see Harry at any point. Things were timed to keep them apart and for it to not become a big media circus."
Swift looking sharp in a short gold and white Elie Saab dress with a plunging neckline and later could be seen wearing a black lace dress with knee-high boots as she performed “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”, a song said to be about one of her former flames Jake Gyllenhaal.
Styles was dressed a little more casual and seemed comfortable in the confines of his fellow band members.
