Taylor Swift went to the 2013 "People's Choice Awards" alone on Jan. 9, 2013. Swift looked stunning in a low-cut, white Ralph Lauren gown at the "People's Choice Awards" on Wednesday evening. Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend, Harry Styles from One Direction, was a no-show tonight even though the group won an award for the song "What Makes You Beautiful."
Olivia Munn presented Taylor Swift with the award for "Favorite Country Artist." Munn joked that the song "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" was written about her as she tried to pull the statue away from Taylor. Swift hilariously said, "This always happens," referring to the Kanye West incident at the "MTV Video Music Awards" in 2009.
During her acceptance speech, Taylor Swift thanked her fans for their support. She says, "I want to thank you for caring about my music, and for caring about me. Thanks so much you guys, I love you."
The People's Choice Awards is the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in music, movies and television.
