September 4, 2010 - Taylor Lautner wins $40,000 RV settlement, gives money to charity
Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner won a settlement with McMahon's RV company on Friday, but will give the money to charity instead of keeping it.
Taylor Lautner suffers distress over trailer
Lautner was awarded $40,000 when the RV company agreed to settle the dispute over a late delivered trailer last June. The actor had ordered a used trailer for use during the filming of his latest film, Abduction. He was told they'd have it completed with some safety repairs that needed to be done and delivered by June 21.

The trailer didn't arrive on time and the promised repairs were apparently not made, so Lautner sued the company. However, all the 'emotional distress' and dive behavior claims on Lautner's part were untrue.
"This was never a suit about money. It was to hold someone accountable. Taylor never ordered a customized RV -- it was a used RV which needed simple safety-related repairs. There was never any diva behavior. 'Emotional distress' is an automatic checked box on a fraudulent claim." Said a Us Weekly source.

The charity that Lautner will donate the money to is called "The Lollipop Theater Network, which is a non-profit organization that brings current theater-playing movies to children who are confined to hospitals with chronic and life-threatening diseases, explained Robert Barta, Lautner's attorney.
We think Taylor's donation is for a great cause and we applaud the actor for being so generous!
