Taylor Lauter SNL 'awkward love' sketch (video)
The Howard Stern Show's Tuesday morning guest Kenan Thompson starred in more sketches than any other cast member on this week's Saturday Night Live starring 'Twilight: New Moon' teen hunk Taylor Lautner. The Taylor Lautner SNL sketch "Awkward Love" featured Keenan Thompson providing musical commentary in a "What Up With That?" style.
Kenan Thompson caught Howard Stern's eye this season when he began starring in more sketches and stepped into a more prominent role in the cast. Howard Stern called Kenan Thompson "one funny dude" on Tuesday morning's Howard Stern Show broadcast.
In addition to the "Awkward Love" sketch, New Moon' star Taylor Lautner worked with Kenan Thompson three other sketches. A sketch starring Kenan Thompson as Tiger Woods was noticeably absent from the Taylor Lautner SNL. Kenan Thompson told Howard Stern that SNL took heat for last week's sketch in which he played a battered Tiger Woods being abused by his wife Elin Nordegren, played by guest host Blake Lively. Some domestic violence awareness groups were less than amused at Kenan Thompson and SNL ripping on the year's most famous incidence of spousal abuse.

On Tuesday's Howard Stern Show, Kenan Thompson told Stern that landing lots of camera time on SNL has a lot to do with participating in the writing. “As soon as you don’t write for yourself, that’ll be the week you’re not doing anything," said Thompson.
