Last week, NBC’s “Chicago Fire” ended as Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) was going into surgery to repair damage done to his back and neck.
In the Feb. 6 episode of “Chicago Fire”, Severide’s doctor told him he was healthy enough to return to full duty.
When he returned to the firehouse, Kelly was faced with his ex-fiancé’s brother, angry at him for having left his sister at the altar.
Thankfully his best friend, paramedic Leslie Shay was nearby when the argument happened. She blurted out that it was not Kelly’s fault their wedding was called off. Instead, Renee, Kelly’s ex-fiancé cheated on him with another man shortly before their wedding and he called it off.
The Lady Gaga boyfriend will be back for more episodes as the “Chicago Fire” season continues. As of Feb. 6, NBC announced they are extending the first season to 24 episodes.
Producers for “Chicago Fire” include: Dick Wolf, Danielle Gelber, Michael Brandt, Derek Haas, Matt Olmstead and Peter Jankowski. Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski also produce “Law & Order”.
