Edmonton Oilers’ top gun Taylor Hall and a star-studded lineup of current and former NHL players and music celebrities are planning to score huge donations next summer for the Kingston and area’s Boys and Girls Club.
The inaugural Taylor Hall Golf 4 the Cause fundraising tournament is slated for the Loyalist Golf and Country Club in nearby Bath on July 10-11.
Festivities get under way on July 10 at 6:30 p.m. with an exclusive private draft night celebrity cocktail party at a to-be-determined location.
The shotgun tournament goes off the next day starting at 11 a.m. A free shuttle service leaves the Ambassador Conference Resort at 9 a.m.
The golfers are invited to attend a dinner and awards banquet after the golf at the course and there will be a free post-event shuttle service.
Registration fees are $3,000 per team.
Team entries include each foursome being comprised of three golfers and a celebrity determined through the draft night party lottery.
Players will receive tickets to the private draft night celebrity cocktail party and a TaylorMade/Under Armour participant Package on the day of the tournament.
Businesses and groups that sign on get hole sponsorship signage and recognition on all tournament media releases.
The Loyalist Golf and Country Club is located at 1 Loyalist Blvd.
