As reported by TV By the Numbers on April 10, David Tutera is returning to WE tv with a new TV series that spotlights Hollywood’s rich and famous parties and weddings. One of the most interesting morsels of information released on Thursday was that Taylor Armstrong from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and her lavish April 4 wedding to Colorado attorney, John Bluher, would be one of the featured events on “David Tutera’s CELEBrations."

The party planner extraordinaire will stage not just weddings for “CELEBrations,” but also a baby shower for Lil’ Kim and a birthday party for the 5-year-old twins of Amy Weber, a former WWE Diva turned pop star. Tutera will star in “CELEBrations,” and also serve double duty as co-executive producer. The new series is set to premiere at 9 p.m. EST on Friday, Aug. 1 on WE tv.

Taylor Armstrong starred on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Bravo for three seasons. In 2011, her husband, Russell Armstrong, took his own life when allegations of money troubles and spousal abuse surfaced. In 2012, Taylor released a memoir titled “Hiding from Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding Courage Within.” She made a few limited appearances this season on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” which just wrapped up season four.

According to Us Magazine, Taylor Armstrong and John Bluher were married on Friday, April 4 during a ceremony that took place at the Bel Air Bay Club. More than 120 guests attended their nuptials, including “RHOBH” co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards. After the wedding, guests were treated to a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Everything was planned and orchestrated by David Tutera and the wedding will be featured sometime during the first season of “CELEBrations.”

Interestingly enough, Kandi Burruss from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” also got married on April 4, the same day as Taylor’s wedding. According to The Celebrity Café, Kandi finally tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Todd Tucker, who was a regular on this season of "RHOA." As posted by The Urban Daily, Fantasia Barrino from “American Idol” and cast mate Phaedra Parks were in the wedding party.

The last new episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs on April 13. The two-part reunion show is set to air on April 20 and 27 on Bravo.
