Taylor Armstrong married attorney John Bluher last year, and tonight, fans will get to see the behind-the-scenes details of the affair on "David Tutera's CELEBrations."
In a new interview, the former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star opened up about her wedding, revealing what she wanted to come across to her guests when she walked down the aisle.
"It was so important to me for everyone to be able to see the transition of my life from my Beverly Hills life to my Colorado life, from tragedy to triumph," Armstrong revealed during an Aug. 1 interview with Radar Online. "My daughter and I have this whole new chapter and becoming not only John’s wife, but us becoming a family was really important."
After losing her husband, Russell Armstrong, to suicide in 2011, Armstrong went through some pretty dark times, but after falling in love with Bluher, she got back on her feet and found happiness. Then, during a romantic getaway to Mexico, Bluher proposed to Armstrong. On April 4, 2014, the couple tied the knot -- with Armstrong wearing not one, but two wedding dresses.
"We dance all the time in the kitchen when we cook and I wanted to be able to dance and my dress had a little bit of a train on it, so the second dress was shorter," she explained. "That was one of the most overwhelming moments that day because that’s a big deal. I needed it to fit, and it was perfectly formed-fitted and it was everything I could have ever wanted."
Taylor Armstrong's episode of "David Tutera’s CELEBrations" airs on WEtv tonight, Aug. 1, at 9 p.m.
