Hollywood celebrities are going to need to beef up their home security systems against burglaries due to an increase in home invasions. According to TMZ on Monday, Jan. 28 Taye Diggs' home was invaded by someone attempting to rob him last night.
Taye Diggs attended the SAG Awards early Sunday evening and even graced the audience with his presence on stage along side a very pregnant Busy Phillips.
Apparently, someone thought Taye Diggs would return home late and took the opportunity to break into his home. However, Taye Diggs was at home at the time of the attempted break-in.
TMZ sources claim that the break-in happened shortly after 11:00 p.m. Taye Diggs took the suspect by surprise when he confronted him and he too k off running. Taye Diggs chased after the intruder and eventually caught him and was able to detain him until the police officials arrived.
There was also a getaway driver but he apparently got away.
