Celebrity “swatting” has been a big news topic recently with celebs like Chris Brown and Justin Bieber being the victims of fake distress calls to the police. However, sometimes the break ins are all too real. TMZ reported today that an evil doer tried to break into Taye Diggs home, but the actor didn't take it lying down (Jan. 28).
Apparently the suspect broke into the actors home sometime after 11 p.m. Diggs confronted the suspect who took off and a chase ensued. The actor apprehended the bad guy and held him until police arrived.
Back in August, an intruder broke into LL Cool J’s home and he also took matters into his own hands, literally. LL got into a scuffle with the intruder and broke his jaw. If anything, Digg’s intruder should be happy that he got off relatively easy.
LL said in an interview with Oprah what he wonders what would have happened if he hadn’t been home. His wife was upstairs sleeping along with two of his daughters. "It wasn't one of those beat-your-chest moments. It was one of those grateful, thank God, gratitude moments that I was able to handle this situation, subdue this guy, wait for the police, get him out of here and everybody was safe. You know, because if I wasn't here... house full of women, there's no telling what could have happened. He had bad intentions."
