A taxidermist takes some liberties with dead animals and instead of stuffing them the way nature intended them to look, he turns them into hybrids. According to The Sun on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, Andrew Lancaster has put wings on a pig, made a flying unicorn out of a rabbit and has given a chicken three heads.
Check out these bizarre creatures here on The Sun’s website.
The pig with wings is suspended in midair by invisible string and it really is a sight to see. Because Lancaster uses real animal parts for all his creations, the creatures look like they came for nature, but with a bizarre twist.
This artist, who uses dead animals as his supplies, was inspired to make these stuffed hybrids by seeing the dead animals on the side of the road. It appears that this artist has found a use for road kill.
Lancaster collects the road kill and stores them in his freezer for future projects. His creations are for sale and they start at 30 pounds. Lancaster lives in New Zealand, but he’s originally from Yorkshire. It seems that at his house pigs do fly!
