The New York City Office of Administrative Tax Appeals (OATA) is seeking to hire two college aides to work at 1 Centre Street. These positions are part time and the hourly wage is $8.75 to $13.15. All applicants applying for these two positions or other positions in Assignment Level I, II or III must be enrolled at a matriculated institution and be enrolled in at least nine semester credits. Employment is conditioned upon one being a matriculated student in college or graduate school, in the study of computer science, information technology or data processing.
Although these positions are part time, the maximum tenure for these positions are six years and no student shall be employed no more than half time during scheduled semester. A chance for full time employment will be during semester breaks or vacations. All candidates must be able to understand and be understood in English. Also candidates must be able to read and write in English, knowledge of numberic filing system, basic computer knowledge and good organizational skills.
