Tuesday, April 15 is the last day to file your 2013 tax return. All returns must be postmarked by midnight to avoid fines. The U.S. Post Office on East Sunset Road will be open until midnight for all those procrastinators. To help provide relief to weary taxpayers, some local businesses are offering freebies and deals for tax day. is treating all of Las Vegas to coffee and pastries at several local coffee shops on April 15 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.. Participating shops include Grouchy Johns, Sambalatte, Sunrise Coffee LV, Bronze Café, Tipsy Coffee House, Tiabi Coffee & Waffle Bar, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii Truck and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations. Grouchy Johns will also have a truck outside the Sunset Post Office from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.. You can show your appreciation by posting a photo on social media with the hashtag #mytaxbreak.

Ra Sushi at the Fashion Show Mall will be treating guests to an extended Happy Hour on April 15. From 3 p.m. to close, enjoy all the food and drink specials from the vast Happy Hour menu. Deals include $12 glasses of Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio, bottles of Sapporo for $4.75 and Crispy Spicy Tuna sushi for $6.75.
