Taun Taun's Game Finds: Weekend Haul (03/03/13) (Photos)

This was a great weekend in game finds for me. I walked into Toys R Us, in hopes that NECA shipped their Limited Edition Portal 2 Chell Action Figure there. While I was disappointed that I didn't find her, I did run into quite a few other figures that I have been hunting for. So, let's get this weekend haul kicked off with all the greatness I did have the opportunity of snagging off the shelves!

The first figures that I spotted were the NECA Team Fortress 2 Limited Edition action figures, Demoman and Pyro. They are 6.5″ tall, include over 25 points of articulation, and are limited to 1,000 pieces each. Both of them also include a bonus code inside that will unlock some in-game content. Of course, I leave the majority of my figures sealed, so I will not be taking advantage of the content. There was no announcement of what that content is, so if you want to find out, you've got to pick up the figures to find out.

Strolling down the isle, I also ran into a Street Fighter IV Guile figure, also by NECA. I already had the regular Guile figure, mind you, but this was the 2009 Comic-Con exlusive figure that I just couldn't pass up. Dressed in dark green pants and his yellowish-green jacket, he includes the extra set of interchangeable hands and 35 points of articulation.

Then, I saw them. The figures I had just stopped in Toys R Us looking for the previous week, the NECA BioShock Infinite figures! There they were, Elizabeth in her royal blue dress and the Boys of Silence with their trumpet-like ears and bronze heads. The Boys of Silence figures include an excerpt from the Columbian nursery rhyme from BioShock Infinite on the back as noted:

"Watch where you step! Don't say a word! You'll be in trou-ble if the boys have heard!"

I think I may have to be asking for a second set for my birthday just to open!

Lastly, I spotted NECA's Borderlands blue Claptrap figure, dubbed Model: Blu14. It was as though he called out to me, "Hello, Traveler!" as I was passing through. Now, I can add him to the other Borderlands figures.

I also picked up a couple of Skylanders figures at Toys R Us and Wal-Mart. The variants I picked up were Molten Hot Dog, which is a Wal-Mart exclusive. Legendary Chill is a Toys R Us exclusive. Just another two to add to the collection.

You can see all the images in the slideshow above! That's all for this weekend haul! Until next time, collectors, keep on traveling, Vault Hunters!
