Tater tot “nachos”

1 (32 oz) bag tater tots
4 slices bacon, uncooked
½ onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tbsp. chili powder
¾ tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. cayenne pepper
¼ tsp. oregano
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 (15 oz) jar salsa con queso
Salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and chopped green onions to top

Bake tater tots according to package instructions, until a deep golden brown. Meanwhile, cook bacon on the stovetop. Set aside but keep the bacon grease. Cook the onions and garlic in the remaining grease, adding in the beef once softened. Once the meat has cooked add in the spices. Stir well and cook a few more minutes. Crumble the cooked bacon. Top the baked tater tots with the meat mixture, bacon, and toppings.
