If you enjoy cooking or just eating, then Tasty Tuesday will be your new favorite movie feature. Each Tuesday, I pick a film that has something to do with food. Sounds delicious doesn't it? To kick off this new event, "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" is the first pick. A movie that many of us as kids grew up with.

A film about a poor boy named Charlie Bucket, that gets the dream of a lifetime, a tour of Willy Wonka's factory! Charlie is different than the other children, he has a big heart! The film is a real treat because of Gene Wilder's exceptional performance as Wonka, it's a performance that is hard to beat. Charlie was played by Peter Ostrum, and Mel Stuart had directed the movie.

"Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," is a film that will make you crave for chocolate and other sugary treats. It's based off of the beloved classic by Roald Dahl. So the 1971 film, "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory," is the first pick for Tasty Tuesday. It's a pick that the whole family can enjoy. You can pair this movie with your favorite candy bars!
