The playoffs are over and the match up is set. It’s time for the big game on Feb. 3! Whether you are hosting a party at your house in SLC or going to one, football is certainly one of those events that requires great snack food. Here’s a list of some delicious snacks—from appetizers and finger food to veggies sides and sweet treats that will keep your home team happy.
Jalapeno Poppers with Beehive Cheese: Make this snack with bite ahead of time and place in the oven as guests begin to arrive or for a halftime break treat.
Laziz Lebanese Hummus: Sometimes a grab-and-go solution is still the best and in Laziz hummus, you’ll look like a pro, delivering healthy and tasty dip paired with fresh veggies or pita wedges. Check out Laziz’ other products too.
Creminelli salami: For gourmet snacking at its finest, put out a tray of delicious Creminelli cured meats. You’ll be recognized for not only supporting local but also serving only the best.
Spinach Artichoke Dip: This dip can be made the day before, stored in the refrigerator and then heated in the oven either before the game or for a half-time warm up.
Deviled Eggs: Great for bite-sized snacking, deviled eggs bring a smile to everyone’s face. If you want to get fancy, forego the paprika sprinkle and instead place green chives in the design of the strings on a football for a game day win.
Olive Cheeseball: You can make this cheeseball in advance as well. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve with crackers or bread.
Guacamole: What football party would be complete without chips and dip? Pair with a side of salsa and corn chips and this will disappear.
Green Bean Casserole: Need something heartier than a veggie tray? Try this warm green bean dish that isn’t your average cream of mushroom soup casserole.
Oven-roasted Potatoes: Love the oven-roasted potatoes at SugarHouse BBQ? Well, now you can make your own.
Cinnamon Sugar Roasted Pecans and Almonds: Set bowls of these out around the party to fill the craving for sweets.
Microwave Fudge and Peanut Brittle: In just minutes you can have some sweet treats in bite-size pieces. Make ahead and enjoy all day!
