Ashland, Talent and Medford wine producers will have their tasting room open this Labor Day Weekend and some will be pouring at the 11th annual Taste of Harry and David takes place 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 31-Sept. 1, at the Harry and David Country Village, 1314 Center Drive, Medford.
At the Taste, Grizzly Peak Winery will be pouring 2011 Tempranillo Blanco, a rare white wine made from red Tempranillo grapes. The winery will also serve 2010 Le Mystere, a hearty red blend of cabernet, cabernet franc and syrah as well as 2011 Rumor, a white Roussanne and Marsanne blend that has won gold medals at the San Francisco and Northwest Savor wine competitions.

Ledger David Cellars will participate in the Taste as well as have its tasting room open noon to 5 p.m. daily at 245A N. Front Street (Hwy. 99) in Central Point, located between Lillie Belle Farms and the Rogue Creamery.

Also at the Taste, Pebblestone Cellars will pour its 2012 pinot gris, which won a Southern Oregon World of Wine silver medal winner, as well as its 2011 viognier, a WOW gold medal winner, and 2008 Melange, a blend of cabernet sauvignon, cab franc and merlot that earned silver medals at WOW and the San Francisco Chronicle competitions.
Eliana Wines, which grows grapes for its Bordeaux blend and cabernet sauvignon wines in Ashland, will also have a booth at the Harry and David event. The label won back-to-back medals in San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition for its 2008 and 2009 vintages.
