"Taste of the World" on April 25th

Immaculate Conception Shelter & Housing Corporation will be hosting their second annual Taste of the World, An International Food, Wine & Beer Tasting to benefit the services Immaculate has provided to Hartford’s Homeless since 1981. The evening will feature culinary delicacies from countries such as Puerto Rico, Greece, Poland, Italy and more. Thomas Hooker Brewery and Back East Brewing Company will pour beer, and Harvest Fine Wine will provide wines. The evening will also include eclectic music and silent auction.

Dr. Raul Pino, Director of Health & Human Services for the City of Hartford will accept The Partnership Award, and Paul Nanos, FOX Sports News, will be the Special Guest Emcee. Tickets are $75 per person, $150 per couple, and additional persons on the same reservation are just $70 each. The event begins at 6:30 pm and is scheduled to run until 9:30 pm at St. Thomas Seminary, 467 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield, CT 06002.
