"Famed Food & Wine Festival features New Exclusive Black and Blanco After-Party!"
Get ready, South Florida – Share Our Strength’s Taste of The Nation South Florida is almost here! Taking place in many cities throughout for over 20 years, the “Taste” is arguably the most recognized and longest-running food & wine event in the country– and the South Florida Taste is perhaps the very best! But the really good news, is that all goes to benefit Share Our Strength’s valiant efforts to ending childhood hunger in America.
Last year marked the inaugural launch “Taste of the Nation South Florida,” combining the former Miami and Ft. Lauderdale Tastes into one singular sensation. The new venture “proved to be a much stronger event, attracting a larger group of restaurants, attendees and sponsors,” notes Restaurant Chair Chef Timon Balloo. Building upon last year’s unparalleled success, this year’s spectacular will showcase over 50 of the hottest restaurants from both Dade and Broward counties, along with top chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, beer meisters, and dessert makers.
It all takes place Tuesday, June 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the main ballroom of the famed Loews Miami Beach Hotel.

“Last year, Taste of the Nation South Florida attracted more than 50 restaurant participants and raised more than $130,000, which helped connect children in need with up to 13 million meals,” added long-time Taste of the Nation event chairman, Chef Allen Susser. “We’re confident the event will continue to grow, helping us raise the critical funds needed to end childhood hunger.” (So are we, Chef!).
