As part of the festivities surrounding the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway this weekend, the annual Taste of the 24 presented by Halifax Health on Saturday, January 25th will benefit the NASCAR Foundation’s new scholarship program benefitting Volusia County high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in a two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school in Florida during the 2014-2015 academic school year. The Taste of the 24 will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. ET in the Backstretch Corporate Suites at the Speedway, during the Rolex 24.
24 of the area’s finest restaurants will participate in this evening of music, food and non-stop racing action. Among the restaurants participating are Sloppy Joe’s Daytona, Bahama Breeze, Lost Lagoon Wings and Grill, Blue Grotto, Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, Hidden Treasure Rum Bar and Grille and Heavenly Cheesecakes.
General admission tickets for the Taste of the 24 include admission into the Taste and a weekend pass to the Rolex 24 at Daytona, including Sprint FAN ZONE access, Budweiser Party Porch access on Saturday, free premier parking through Gate 70 on Saturday and the chance to win a Rolex watch; tickets are $95 each. Child general admission tickets, including Taste admission and the weekend pass, are $24. Purchase tickets for the Taste of the 24 through the NASCAR Foundation website.
