'Taste of L.I.' fundraiser set for Monday

EAST MEADOW, NY -- The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence will be showcasing local wines, beers and foods during the 13th annual "Taste of Long Island."

The event is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday (January 30) at The Carltun in Eisenhower Park.

A lineup of Long Island chefs will be on hand to dish out samples of their cuisine, and wineries from the Island and elsewhere will be pouring samples.

Tickets are $100 per person,  $150 for reserved seating.  Additional details and reservations may be made by e-mailing Nicole Vaughan or calling (516) 465-4700.
